Q: Do you accept walk-ins or do I need an appointment?
A: During the time of the COVID-19 pandemic we work by appointment only for the health, safety, & wellbeing of our customers and employees. Thank you for understanding.
Q: What is the price point of your bridal gowns?
A: Our gowns range from $1400-$4000. If you are working within a specific budget always make us aware so we can help you find your perfect bridal gown.
Q: Do you limit how many people are allowed at a bridal gown appointment?
A: Yes, during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, only one special person may accompany the bride. For any other special people, we recommend Facetiming them during your appointment. Everyone in the shop must wear a mask over their mouth and nose. Thank you for your understanding.
Q: What do I wear to a bridal gown appointment?
A: We recommend nude undergarments. They will give you the most flattering fit in any gown and give you coverage you will feel comfortable with. A strapless bra will work best with any neckline you try on.
Q: How long are bridal gown appointments?
A: Our bridal gown appointments are 90 minutes long.
Q: How long before my wedding should I buy my wedding gown?
A: Purchasing your wedding gown seven or more months before your wedding is stress free. We can certainly work in a shorter time frame of six months, if necessary.
Q: What should I expect at my appointment at Veiled in Elegance?
A: You will receive a warm welcome and personalized attention. Our goal is to give our brides, mothers of the wedding, bridesmaids, and flower girls a personalized and special experience. It is the most important, special dress brides will ever wear; because of that we carry timeless, high quality designers and gowns sure to make brides look and feel their most beautiful on the best, most important day of their lives!
Q: What is different about Veiled in Elegance from other bridal shops?
A: We pride ourselves on being an intimate bridal shop carrying only impeccably constructed designer gowns made of quality fabrics with a couture fit. Our dresses are timeless, simple and elegant to make the bride shine on her wedding day. Our accessories can be customized to compliment any gown.
Q: I bought my dress...now what?
A. Once you purchase your gown you will receive a folder with important information for your wedding planning process as well as our recommended vendors' information. Then, your goal is to accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! Our custom accessories can take up to 3 months to arrive. Once your gown comes in we will contact you. Alterations will start about eight weeks before the wedding. Our seamstresses are professionally trained and will work with you here at the shop to make your dress fit perfectly.
Q: How long before the wedding should I order my bridesmaids or mother of the wedding dresses?
A: Bridesmaid and mother of the wedding dresses should be ordered five months before the wedding. Our seamstresses can also work with bridesmaids and mothers of the wedding for alterations.
Q: Where should I go for alterations?
A: Here! We are proud to do all our alterations in-house. We have two expert bridal seamstresses who will customize your gown or dress to you and your vision.
Q: How long before my wedding should I start my alterations?
A: We recommend starting your alterations process eight to ten weeks before your wedding. Typically it takes three appointments to finish the gown. We will help you make appointment times as convenient to your schedule as possible. But remember to make time for this process. You will be so glad you did when your gown fits like a glove!
